Boysenberry And
Port Jam


This is a good way to use up some port that you may have hiding in your cupboard.

It makes about 4 cups

1kg boysenberries
3 cups sugar
1/4 cup port
1/8 tsp ground cinnamon

Place the boysenberries in a large heavy saucepan. If using frozen berries, thaw over low heat.
Add sugar and stir until it dissolves. Cook until mixture boils for 10 to 12 minutes or until it sets.
pour into hot, clean, dry jars.
Seal when cold.
